Information we collect

This site does not require an account, and we do not ask you to submit financial, brokerage, or payment information to read any article. The information we do collect falls into two categories:

• Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure for security and reliability purposes.
• First-party analytics — we record page views and referrers in our own database to see which articles are popular. We do not currently use Google Analytics; if that changes, this page will be updated first.
• Advertising cookies (planned) — Google AdSense, described below, once ads are enabled on this site.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them, or plan to use them as the services below are switched on, to remember your display preferences (such as dark mode), understand how visitors use this site in aggregate, and serve relevant advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function, though some features (like remembering your theme) will not persist.

Third-party services

• Google AdSense (planned) — once enabled, Google and its partners will use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and this site will display a consent notice for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland before doing so. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• Supabase — our database and hosting provider, which stores the content of this site (articles, stock data). It does not receive your browsing data as a visitor.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because we don't operate user accounts, we hold very little personal data tied to any individual visitor beyond standard server logs and analytics/advertising cookies. If you have questions about the data described on this page, or want to request its deletion where applicable, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site adds features. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
